Qatargate, the NGO “No peace without justice” searched. Questioned the treasurer

MILAN. The last act of the Italian branch of the Qatargate investigation took place today in Rome. In the crosshairs of the investigators, who move on the basis of a European investigation order that arrived on the desk of the deputy prosecutor Fabio De Pasquale, a series of wire transfers starting from those that, on a monthly basis, the NGO made in favor of the lawyer Silvia Panzeri, the daughter of the former MEP of the Democratic Party and then of Article 1 at the center of the system that the investigating judge Michel Claise is rebuilding.

Meanwhile, Figà Talamanca, arrested last December 9 with Antonio Panzeri, was released from prison in early February, after two months in prison. “The NGO is not being investigated – explains the lawyer Guido Camera who assists NPWJ – as always we have guaranteed maximum collaboration to the investigators, with the hope that light will soon be shed on the facts under investigation”.
