Tanzania Revenue Authority’s (TRA) Ilala Region has awarded the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) in recognition of its outstanding tax payment.
The TRA handed over a trophy yesterday at the award giving ceremony which was held at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam.
TCAA’s Director of Corporate Services, Mr Teophory Mbilinyi shortly after receiving the trophy said it will act as catalyst for the authority to further improve its services.
“TCAA as a regulator of aviation has great responsibility of ensuring its daily operation contribute to the national income, but this start from us to be a role model in tax payment,” Mr Mbilinyi said.
For two years consecutively TCAA has bagged trophy from the TRA due to its stunning commitment on paying tax.
TCAA regulate and oversee civil aviation safety, security, economic matters and provision of air navigation services.
