In a statement, the company said that the new Regional Commercial Director of Sales will bring “his strategic expertise and passion for the hospitality industry to strengthen Radisson Resorts’ presence in the Moroccan market.”

In the past few years, Radisson Hotel Group has been gradually scaling its presence in Morocco. The group currently manages eight facilities in the North African country.
In July 2021, Radisson Hotel Group announced that, in partnership with real estate investment company Madaef, they are set to open seven Moroccan hotels located in key tourist hotspots including Al Hoceima, Saidia, and Taghazout.
The new portfolio covers resorts and residences that would add over 1,600 rooms bringing the Group’s Moroccan portfolio to 10 hotels, fast-tracking its strategy to reach 15 hotels in operation and under development in the country by 2025.
The company is on track to reach its target in Morocco. In August 2023, they announced the opening of the eighth hotel in the country situated in Saidia, a seaside destination in northern Morocco.
