Misrata Registered in National Register of Historical Places


Three historical landmarks in the city of Misrata were officially registered in the National Register of Historical Places.

According to our government platform, the registered landmarks included the historic building of the Municipality of Misrata (downtown), the Al-Zawiya Al-Senusiya building in the “Aqzir Al-Bahri” area on the coastal road, and the Allama Ibn Ghalboun Mosque in the Qasr Hamad area.

According to the platform, these landmarks have been nominated to be included in the ISESCO list, which is supervised by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
